OTDR FBG Reflector 1650nm

Description

WCFO’s OTDR FBG Reflector is used on the FTTH network to set and monitor a specific point of the network usuallyon the customer side. The working principle is that when the optical measurement system sends light wave in a certain wavelength range to FBG Reflector at the end of optical fiber through the front end of optical fiber, FBG Reflector will reflect back the reflected wavelength (1645nm~1655nm), If the measuring system can detect this wavelength normally, it proves that the optical fiber connection is normal.

A monodirectional FBG Reflector is defined as the FBG based device that maintain all the transmitting values in line with the given datasheet only when the 1650nm signal direction is "FORWARD" one.
A bidirectional FBG reflector is defined as the FBG based device that maintain all the transmitting values inline with the given datasheet when the 1650nm signal is on the "FORWARD" on "BACKWARD" sides.
For bothe device all over the Passband Wavelength the device must be in line with datasheet over both signal sides ("FORWARD" and BACKWARD").
